Local Housing Market Stats For March 2023

With spring finally here, we’re seeing sales activity pick up with more new listings and higher sales volume than last month.
Below are the highlights of our local real estate markets:
Burlington
In March, Burlington saw a decrease of 19.8% from March 2022 with an average sale price of $1.05 million. Homes in Burlington are staying on the market for an average of 36 days.
Oakville
The average sale price of homes in Oakville for March 2023 was $1.64 million which is a 15% price decrease from March 2022. These properties in Oakville are staying on the market for an average of 36 days before selling
Hamilton
Hamilton’s housing market saw a 20.7% decrease compared to March 2022 with an average sale price of $795,953. These homes are staying on the market for about 40 days.
